Page 12 (finally)

Taken me ages to get this page done. I had a bit of a break inbetween & then decided to try photoshop instead of illustrator.... kinda unsuccessfully. Anyway... done

I posted onto some forums to try & get some feed back on the first 10 pages. I've either had NO replies at all, or VERY little positivity. see HERE & HERE & HERE

I have had constructive feedback from one person... & that was hard to hear.

Self promotion is hard work :-(

On a lighter/happier side, Page 11 (which is a bitch of a page for me) is nearly finished.

PAGE 10 Finished

This is a bit of a landmark page, as it closes act 1 of issue 1. For the rest of this week I plan to go back & make some small changes to pages 1-9 (if needed) & then post all 10 pages to my Deviant Art page. Another sneak peak below

Why Gary Rocks

One thing that I've always been impressed by is Gary's own drive to get the Hero Chronicles launched. In the six years I've known Gary, Hero Chronicles has gone through many different ideas and revisions. Hell, it even had a different writer to start with, but Gary, being the true believer that he is stuck with it and pushed forward when there was no-one else pushing with him.

It gives me great pride to be the one writing what he is drawing, and I know when Hero Chronicles finally hits shelves/devices, you're going to see a comic with a lot of passion, and that passion is all thanks to Mr. Seaward. (I'm just talent ;) no-one ever said I had passion)

Times, they are a' changin'

I've realised today that I need to go back & make some alterations to the pages I've already finished. Bit of a bummer, but I want them to look good & be the best I can do.

I'm about 2 hours into page 10 & I'm about to start inking it.
